The Republic of Gamers was founded with the goal of creating the world’s most powerful and versatile gaming laptops, elevating the gaming experience.
The Idea
To bring this to life for the second year of the campaign, we turned the Republic of Gamers into a travel agency for gamers. Instead of selling flights, it sells destinations inside legendary game worlds.
And who better to guide players than the voices behind those worlds?
We brought in iconic voice actors Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno (GTA V) and Roger Clark (Red Dead Redemption 2), inviting fans to explore the Republic through the characters they love.
The Execution
The films were packed with deep gaming references and in-jokes, rewarding the fans who know these worlds best.
For the second year of the campaign we doubled down on what worked:
• Iconic characters
• Unexpected crossovers
• GTA nostalgia
• Anticipation around GTA • references fans instantly recognised
Two new films were created.
One reunited two legendary voices from GTA V.
The second introduced the Wild West gunslinger from Red Dead Redemption 2, interviewing for a job at the Republic’s travel agency.
